Travelling to the Canary Islands with kids is a safe bet: great weather all year round, calm seas and plenty of family activities for all ages. At OWA we hand-pick experiences that are fun, safe and designed with children in mind, and we help you build the perfect plan for their ages. These are our favourites.
Paddling on calm waters and slipping into caves is pure adventure for kids. With a life jacket and a guide at all times, it's one of the most complete and safest ways to get started at sea.

> Great from age 6-7. Discover it: [Kayak & Sea Caves in Mogán](/activity/kayak-caves) — from €35.
Spotting colourful fish with a mask and snorkel is a hit at any age. We choose protected areas with calm waters, perfect for beginners. Our [snorkelling in the Teno Marine Reserve](/activity/snorkel-teno) (from €45) or the [guided snorkelling from Puerto de Mogán](/activity/zeus-snorkel-mogan) are an unforgettable first taste of the seabed.

Laughter guaranteed. The [banana boat](/activity/banana-boat) (from €25) is a classic for groups and families: pure fun on the water, with life jackets and supervised by monitors.
A day of unspoilt beaches and swims in turquoise water. The [water taxi to Isla de Lobos](/activity/water-taxi-lobos) (from €17) turns the crossing into part of the adventure and drops you off at one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the archipelago.
Excitement and nature at their purest. Heading out to find cetaceans in their habitat is the kind of experience children remember for life. Try the [Ocean Giants Cruise](/activity/ocean-giants-cruise) (from €40), with over 98% sighting success, or the [Dolphin Safari](/activity/multiacuatic-dolphin-safari).
If you're after a rounded plan for the whole family, the [Obycat catamaran](/activity/obycat-gran-canaria) (from €69) has it all: gentle sailing, food, drinks, snorkelling and swim stops. The little ones stay entertained and the grown-ups relax.

[Stand up paddle](/activity/stand-up-paddle) (from €30) is ideal for learning as a family: balance, play and a swim in sheltered lagoons and coves. Suitable for beginners with an instructor.
The Canaries have some of the clearest skies in the world. A [stargazing](/activity/stargazing) session (from €50) with a telescope and guide is magical for the whole family and has no minimum age.
Every plan has its moment. As a rough guide:
